The Cedar Falls Police arrested a Waterloo teen after an investigation into an August 10th Robbery.

Isaiah Lee Jackson,17, of 229 Cottage Street Waterloo, was arrested this morning on a warrant charging him with Robbery in the 2nd Degree from an August 10th incident. Police allege that Ilya Syrchin of 2806 College Street in Cedar Falls confronted Jackson about taking property from his residence; at which time Jackson struck the male in the head with a golf club and fled with the property belonging to Syrchin. Jackson is being held at the Black Hawk County Jail.

On Monday August 10, 2015 at approximately 2:30 am, Cedar Falls Police responded to a report of a robbery near the intersection of University Avenue and College Street. The victim reported being robbed by two males and two females. During the commision of the robbery, the victim was hit in the head with a golf club. The victim was taken to Sartori Hospital by ambulance with injuries to his head. The victim reports the suspects fled the scene on foot. At this time, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
