Waterloo Public Golf Courses Set For Weekend Opening

It's an unofficial sign that spring has arrived in the Cedar Valley. Area golfers who have been anxious to get back to the greens, will get the opportunity this weekend.

Park and recreation officials in Waterloo plan to open the city's three municipal golf courses for the season on Sunday (March 15, 2015). Golfers can start teeing off at Gates Park, Irv Warren Memorial and South Hills at 9 a.m., weather permitting.
