Work to complete a resurfacing project on U.S. Highway 20 in Black Hawk County will require partial interchange closures east of Waterloo this week.

Crews are finishing a hot-mix asphalt paving project that began last year between Interstate 380 and County Road V-65 near Jesup. According to the Iowa Department of Transportation (IDOT), the construction work requires the U.S. 20 on- and off-ramps at the Dunkerton and Jesup interchanges to be partially closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Thursday (June 5-8, 2017).

Scheduled times for U.S. 20 ramp closures in Black Hawk County:

Monday, June 5: Eastbound U.S. 20 at County Road V-51 (Dunkerton interchange).
Tuesday, June 6: Westbound U.S. 20 at County Road V-51 (Dunkerton interchange).
Wednesday, June 7: Eastbound U.S. 20 at County Road V-65 (Jesup interchange).
Thursday, June 8: Westbound U.S. 20 at County Road V-65 (Jesup interchange).

IDOT officials said changeable message sign boards will be in place prior to and during the ramp closures to alert motorists.
