Okay, okay, enough of the cynical stuff. Valentine's Day is meant to CELEBRATE love. Here a few songs that should remind you of your sweetie.

Some are a little cheesy, some are classics, all should be part of your V-Day playlist:

Carly Rae Jepsen - "Run Away With Me" (2015)

Carly is so damn adorable. Seriously...I want her to meet my mom. Oh...and the song is really charming, too.

Lady Gaga - "You And I" (2011)

This may not be charming, but Lady Gaga could probably sing the phone book and make it interesting. This a very underrated song in the Gaga catalog--it's bluesy, sexy, honest, and a great song to listen to if your craving some lovin' from your Valentine.

Jason Mraz - "I'm Yours" (2008)

This a playful, carefree love song that makes it almost impossible for your Valentine not to smile. :-)

Maroon 5 - "She Will Be Loved" (2004)

We don't get a lot of super-sensitive Adam Levine these days, and the band's sound has changed dramatically since they burst on the scene in the early 2000s, but these is a beautiful song with lyrics that hit the spot.

Tal Bachman - "She's So High" (1998)

Other than a dude named Tal singing it to you, these lyrics are sweet and touching without being overly cheesy. Seriously, though...TAL?

Aerosmith - "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing" (1998)

I'm pretty sure you'll be hearing this song at high school dances and weddings for the next, like 100 years. It's big and powerful (Steven Tyler is good at that) while still being vulnerable and passionate.

Celine Dion - "My Heart Will Go On" (1997)

It makes sense that one of the most epic love stories of all time has a song to match. I still get goosebumps when I hear this song. It's timeless, it's beautiful. It's a keeper.

Hopefully, I was able to provide you with some Valentine's Day inspo...
