A Cedar Falls man is accused of making threats over social media.

Authorities arrested Jaedon Evans, 18, on Monday following an investigation. Cedar Falls police charged Evans with first-degree harassment.

If convicted, Evans faces up to two years in prison and a fine of between $500 and $5,000.

Officials said the threat involved a Snapchat video showing a loaded revolver and a semi-automatic handgun.

According to Cedar Falls police, authorities executed a search warrant at Evans' Valley Park Drive apartment before his arrest. No weapons were found during the search.
