A Cedar Falls woman is accused of intentionally damaging a vehicle at a local motel.

Amanda Casey, 34, was arrested on multiple charges late Thursday. Police said the charges are connected to an incident that occurred just before midnight at JLL Extended Stay Inn, 4410 University Ave.

According to police, Casey caused extensive damage to a vehicle in the parking lot. Allegedly, Casey also entered and took items from the vehicle she's accused of damaging.

Additionally, police said a witness told officers that Casey went after another person with a dangerous weapon.

Authorities charged Casey with second-degree criminal mischief, going armed with intent and third-degree burglary. Bond was set at $12,000.
