If Demi Lovato's rocket-fueled "Cool for the Summer" wasn't enough to snag Song of Summer honors in 2015, the singer might finally have found her moment in the sun — her new collaboration with Clean Bandit is likely to leave dancefloors packed from June through Labor Day.

"Solo," released very early Friday (May 18), amounts to more successful scouting from Clean Bandit, who've previously dispensed pop bangers like "Rather Be" with Jess Glynne, "Tears" with Louisa Johnson and "Symphony" with Zara Larsson. The track's a mix of ice and fire, and finds Lovato breezily resigning herself to spending time alone and without her ideal lover.

"I wanna f-woop woop woop, but I'm broken hearted / Cr-cr-cry but I like to party / T-t-touch but I got nobody / Here on my own," Lovato laments amid a mix of synth and Vocoder effects.

And fans quickly identified the song as one to watch out for as the weather heats up.

"I live for Demi's strong, incredible belts but her light, breathy voice in this is so pretty. we stan a versatile artist" one wrote in the YouTube comments, while another noted "his song it’s perfect for the summer. i can’t wait to see the music video."

The song will likely be another successful collaboration for Lovato, who triumphed with Cheat Codes on "No Promises" and more recently as a feature on Christina Aguilera's "Fall in Line."
