A couple in Texas recently called 911 just before midnight while they were hiking in a park, and told the dispatcher that they'd been running from a WILD PIG that was chasing them.

They hadn't actually seen the pig, but they said that they could hear it grunting, and they were terrified.

A park ranger eventually found them hiding in a tree to get away from the pig. The woman warned the officer that it was close.  But he didn't see anything.

Then they heard the low grumbling sound again that they'd been running from and the ranger was able to confirm it WASN'T a wild pig.

The sound they were terrified from was just CARS on a nearby road driving over rumble strips.
