Stock Car driver Jake Masters joined us for this episode of Iowa's Virtual Dirt Track Classic Post Race Show. Masters took the 2016 VDTC Stock Car win in the inaugural Bill Colwell Ford Main Event.

Dirt track racing star Jake Masters (Graettinger, IA) was added to the first ever Iowa's Virtual Dirt Track Classic via the fan nomination process. Those same diehard fans helped Masters win the fan-voted race.

Masters doesn't compete for any specific track championship. Instead, he spends most of his season traveling the upper Midwest racing.

"I usually don't have a big plan of attack where I'm going to race," Masters admitted. "I just jump around, hit specials."

Plus the No. 11 travels to some of the larger events like the IMCA Super Nationals (Boone Speedway in Boone, IA) and the USRA National Championships (Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, KS).

"There were a lot of ups and downs at the end of the season," Masters remembered about the 2015 season. "But I think we have everything back on track, (we're) about ready to go for this season."

Look for Masters to follow the same game plan in 2016 as he did in 2015.
