UNI Panthers Football Travels to South Dakota State

Round two of the NCAA Football Championship Series (FCS) postseason takes the UNI Panthers (8-4) to Brookings, SD to battle South Dakota State (9-2).

These two Missouri Valley Football Conference foes have already tangled once this season. The Panthers took the Oct. 14th meeting against the Jackrabbits, 38-18. UNI holds a 30-20 all-time advantage over South Dakota State, with the Panthers winning six out of the last nine meetings in Brookings.

Since the 38-18 win against SDSU earlier this season, the Panthers have won six out of their last seven games down the stretch. This marks the first time that the Panthers and Jackrabbits have met in postseason.

UNI is coming off an impressive first round win. The Panthers blew out Monmouth, 46-7. Junior Eli Dunne led UNI, with 260 yards passing and four touchdowns in his first FCS Playoff appearance at quarterback for the Panthers.
