In a day and age where we're told to be wary of literally everything, I have a new one for you: Turns out that you shouldn't Yelp when it's raining. At least that seems to be what Yelp users are saying...

A new study out of Ohio State University (published in the New York Post) analyzed whether the weather outside had any effect on restaurant reviews. Also, they found when it's raining, the odds of someone leaving a negative review is 290% higher. Oof. That is well over 100%, which I always thought was the highest... no? Ok...

Why does the rain make us hate restaurants? The researchers say it's because rain puts us in a bad mood AND puts the staff at the restaurant in a bad mood so that combo is just begging for a negative review.

So if you're a restaurateur, maybe offer free beer or wine when it's raining? Just a thought.
