Going to the grocery store is usually pretty uneventful. You go from section to section, aisle to aisle, picking up your essentials--produce, milk, bread, etc.--maybe helping yourself to a free sample. But on this day while you're filling up your cart you come across something you never thought you'd see--a wedding ceremony.

The Muscatine Hy-Vee held a contest called "I Do in Aisle 2," in which the winning couple would get married inside the store. For winners Isaiah Long and his fiancee, Kayla Peterson, it was a spur of the moment decision.

The newlyweds also won a reception at the store following the ceremony. 40 other couples entered the contest.

At first, I wanted to make fun of this, simply because it's nothing I would want for myself. But the more I've thought about it, the more I like it. You save a ton of money, it's about as "nontraditional" as you can get, and you'll have a pretty memorable story to share. Plus, you'll be famous on the Internet for a day. Can't lose!

Best wishes to Isaiah & Kayla. It's safe to say there was a helpful smile in that aisle.
