In a recent Netflix special Comedians In Cars, Jerry Seinfeld and Eddie Murphy had a sit down conversation about Murphy's return to stand-up. Seinfeld told Murphy that "you not doing stand-up drives people crazy, you know that right?" Murphy laughed and explained that the late comedian Don Rickles urged him to return to the stage before his death. While that dream wasn't met, Murphy went on to say that he does plan to return when everything fits. He also said that he needs to work out the kinks at local comedy clubs before hitting the big stage again.

It's been reported as well, that Murphy and Netflix are close to making a 70 million dollar stand up special. I wasn't alive when Murphy was in his prime but, through YouTube, I am able to get glimpse of just how powerful he was. If this is truly in the works, I'm so ready.
