Florida Georgia Line and Bebe Rexha teamed up for a special performance of their latest collaboration, "Meant to Be," as part of NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night (Jan. 23). The country duo and pop singer-songwriter were all dressed in black for the spirited chart-topper, which begs the listener to let fate take its course in life.

"If it's meant to be, it'll be, it'll be / Baby just let it be," Florida Georgia Line's Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard croon on the chorus.

Engulfed in smoke, FGL took the stage and sang the song's first verse and chorus alongside slick beats. Moments later, Rexha appeared under multiple spotlights to belt her verse. She slowly walked down the stairs, assisted by Hubbard, and joined the country duo to finish the song.

Their engaging performance proved just why "Meant to Be" has topped the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart for eight consecutive weeks. FGL’s Hubbard and Rexha together with Josh Miller and David Garcia penned the song in California. "Meant to Be" has already amassed over 375 million global streams and can be heard both on country and pop radio stations.

“Some of the coolest moments for us have been the ones we never planned. Going into the writing session that day in LA, we had no idea that it would turn into this,” Hubbard says. “Seeing how the fans are connecting to the vibe and message of ‘Meant to Be’ has been really amazing.”
