Driving can be one of the most stressful things we do every day. People drive like maniacs, they drive like idiots, and one mistake from anybody can be the difference in you being on time or late, or arriving alive and being DOA.

36-year-old Brandon Greggor Crumbley, of Freeport, has been charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Improper Display of a Firearm, and Obstruction.

According to the Walton County Sheriff's Office, the Oskaloosa Academy charter school teacher was involved in a road rage incident on August 2nd, where they say he brake-checked a car driven by a 16-year-old.

The sheriff's office report goes on to say "A short time later, Crumbley was parking his vehicle at his apartment complex when the victim drove by rolling down his window and words were exchanged. As the driver passed by, he told deputies Crumbley lifted his shirt revealing a firearm."

Investigators shared surveillance footage from the incident shows Crumbley holding the gun over his head, waving it, and pointing it at the victim's vehicle.

Officers that spoke with Crumbley during the investigation, said he lied and said he never removed the gun from the holster or used it in a threatening way, according to the sheriff's office.

"After deputies reviewed surveillance video, it was found Crumbley not only lied but appeared to taunt the victim with the weapon," deputies say in a release. "As the vehicle was seen leaving the area, Crumbley is seen holding the gun over his head pointing it at the victim’s vehicle and then towards the sky as if to wave him back towards him."

A warrant was sent out for Crumbley's arrest and he was found Thursday at his home for Hammock Trail East in Freeport.

Crumbley was taken to the Walton County Jail and released Friday morning on a $10,000 bond.
