Former New Hampton Man Breaks Water Skiing World Record [VIDEO]
Earlier this month, Matt Shatek broke the world record on the Cedar River for 'Longest Distance Skied on Two Hands.'
The previous record-holder skied almost half a mile; Shatek went more than a mile on the Cedar River in Nashua.
Documents have been submitted to the Guinness Book of World Records.
The 37-year-old lives in the Twin Cities but grew up in New Hampton. Read more HERE.
