Emmy Award-winning actor Jim Parsons certainly knows how to deliver words for laughs.

The star, better known as Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory, stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday night to help with a segment in which Kimmel discussed what is scientifically proven to be the funniest word in the English language (it's "booty," by the way). Parsons then joined Kimmel onstage to read a list of other words that cause more chuckles. And you know what? They definitely got more than their fair share of laughs.

On The Late Late Show, James Corden had some serious fun parodying the classic Monica-Brandy duet, "The Boy Is Mine," with Jeffrey Tambor, as they competed for John Boyega's affection.

Corden also had some real music, as James Blunt performed the song "OK."

On The Tonight Show, Brie Larson, Marlon Wayans and The Roots' Tariq Trotter took part in a rousing game of Virtual Reality Pictionary, yet another in a seemingly list of clever games the show rolls out for its guests.

On Late Night, Seth Meyers' popular "A Closer Look" segment dove headfirst into President Trump's threatening "fire and fury" remarks toward North Korea that captured the world's attention earlier this week.

Meyers wasn't done there, though. He also made some time to enjoy an episode of Game of Thrones with Leslie Jones, complete with an appearance from a surprise guest.
