*Sarcasm Warning: No One Should Actually Do This*

Dear Hailey, I'm so sorry that this happened to you. If this ever happened to me, my wife and I would be looking for a brand new home.

I wouldn't blame you one bit if you decided to attach explosives to the toilet in question, set a match, and eliminate the problem. I can only pray that this was spotted before someone used the bathroom.

 Would You Think About This For The Rest of Your Life?

The Schueyville native suffered through one of my worst nightmares and I can only hope everyone involved isn't scarred for the rest of their lives. You hear about stories like this happening in Australia with reptiles but I've never heard of or seen this happen to anyone I know.

If this happened to you, would you worry about it for the rest of your life? I would never be able to use the toilet in peace again and I really don't want to live with that kind of stress for my remaining years.

I'm not sure if I can think of a worse animal to find in your toilet. Imagine sitting down to use the toilet and all of a sudden you feel/hear this thing flutter around under your butt. Hailey recently shared this video on her Instagram.

I'll say this a bit louder for the people in the back of the room, ABSOLUTELY NOT. Get rid of the entire toilet, blow up the house, and build a new one. I get goosebumps every time I watch this video.

The good news is that Hailey does appear to be fine. In her Instagram post, she says she was able to get a quick rabies shot right before she heads out on tour and everything is fine.

Hailey is currently on tour with Dan and Shay before joining Luke Combs in April.

If you couldn't tell, I'm afraid of bats. That's not saying much, I'm also afraid of raccoons, skunks, and pretty much any small critter.

What To Do If A Bat Is In Your House

If you ever find a bat in your house, don't kill it. Not only are bats good for the environment, pest control, and pollinating plants, it's not their fault they accidentally got into your house. According to the Humane Society of the United States, you should;

  • Close interior doors to give the bat a way outside
  • Bats will normally fy in a U shape path, flying higher near the walls and lower in the center of the room, so stay near your walls
  • If the bat doesn't find its own escape, call animal control for help or wait for it to land and use a blanket, pillow case, thick gloves, bucket, etc. to capture it and let it outside.
