We all know that alcohol will lower our inhibitions and that includes buying something online that you may not have done before. Iowa is on the higher end of the spectrum when it comes to shopping under the influence. Forbes has concluded that 79% of drinkers have made an online purchase after having a cocktail or two.

Iowa, New Jersey, Maryland, Alabama, and South Carolina were the 5 states that average between $600 and $699 in online drunk spending per year. The good news is that nationwide, drinking and online shopping is worth billions of dollars to the U.S. economy!

Kentucky and Connecticut are the only recorded states that are spending over $700 a year while drinking and online shopping.
