Maddie Poppe To Perform At Iowa State Fair…In 2019
Clarksville native Maddie Poppe captivated the nation to become last season's American Idol winner. The 'Idol' tour isn't coming to Iowa this year, to the disappointment of many. However, Maddie has already announced a headlining concert in Eastern Iowa next month, and now there's even more good news for her fans.
Maddie sang the national anthem at Thursday's opening ceremony of the Iowa State Fair, where it was revealed that she will be performing at next year's event. The Idol champ is scheduled to play on one of the fairgrounds' free stages August 8th, 2019.
ABC also announced that Maddie will perform live on Good Morning America this Wednesday (August 15th).
