Trick or treat? I'm not exactly sure. This is "Crappy News" for Wednesday, October 24, 2018.
British Columbia, Canada- A rapper died after attempting an elaborate stunt.
34-year-old Jon James was shooting a music video on Saturday. He was in one plane and the video crew was in another.
The concept was to film James rapping while he was walking on a wing of the plane during flight. However, James stepped too close to the edge of the wing, causing the plane to tilt.
His management said, "Jon held onto the wing until it was too late, and by the time he let go, he didn't have time to pull his chute. He impacted and died instantly."
James had reportedly trained and practiced the stunt for several months prior to the accident. [XXL.com]
Brooklyn, NY- This gives "dirty cop" a new meaning.
38-year-old Ann Marie Guerra flipped out when a male co-worker, Victor Falcon, complained that she was leaving her underwear all over the co-ed locker room area.
Sgt. Guerra allegedly shouted "they're f***ing clean!" before cramming a thong into Falcon's mouth.
Officers say this is not Guerra's first confrontation with her male colleagues including making disparaging comments on Facebook regarding the size of their...little lieutenants...
Internal Affairs is reviewing the incident. [New York Post]
Don't cops have ENOUGH job hazards to deal with?
Hershey, PA- A parent made a frightening discovery.
According to Derry Township Police, the concerned parent found two baggies of pills while looking through their child's candy bag following a Halloween parade.
Police believe the baggies were "accidentally discarded by someone attending the parade and the child mistakenly picked them from the ground while gathering other candy items."
Cops used the incident as a reminder to parents to check their children's candy around Halloween. [Penn Live]
