After previously facing some trouble of his own after being stopped at the Atlanta airport with a gun, T-Pain is on the accusing side of the law. As reported by The Blast, the Florida artist has filed a massive new lawsuit against his former personal management company.

According to reports, the singer and rapper has filed a $1 million lawsuit, claiming that the company, Chase Entertainment Corporation, was allegedly taking higher commissions than what was agreed upon for years. T-Pain is now demanding the money be returned to him.

T-Pain first signed with the company in 2005, and later extended the agreement for five years in 2009. According to court documents, the talent agency agreed to take 20% commission from all of his music and endorsement deals, an agreement that T-Pain alleges was not honored as time went on.

As it turns out, he had paid the commissions prior to finding out the manager working with him was not licensed to be a talent agent in the first place, leading to his decision to fire the manager in 2014. According to T-Pain, the former manager did not comply with turning over the owed money as a result of the falling out, pushing the Everything Must Go (Vol. 2) rapper to take legal action.

The lawsuit alleges the company was "concealing from Plaintiff the true nature and details of the financial agreements related to his music career, including the income truly earned by him from his public performances and the necessary and proper expenses occurred in connection with same and marketing monies received by Defendant on behalf of Plaintiff’s career.”

As such, T-Pain is seeking $1 million in damages and the return of the past owed commissions he had paid up since working with the company since 2005.

XXL has reached out to T-Pain's reps for a statement commenting on the matter.
