From insects to reptiles to mammals, here is the animal most likely to kill an Iowan.

Ranker.com has determined which animal is most likely to kill a person in each state--and for Iowa, it actually is domestic cattle. Unlike other states where deer might be the most likely (not so much it attacking you but more the odds it'll jump in front of your car), the cow seems like it would be quite stationary. But according to Ranker, "many causes of death occur to blunt force trauma to either the head or chest, often caused by getting trapped in enclosed spaces with cattle that are known to be aggressive."

With Iowa being one of the America's top states for cattle operation, pay attention to when a cattle starts to become more aggressive and take the appropriate care needed to do the job safely and effectively.
