Somebody is planning quite the party. This is "Crappy News" for Monday, April 9th.

Dozens of train cars full of poop have been stranded at a local rail yard for months. And the worst part? It's not even THEIR poop. For the last year, waste management facilities in New York and one in New Jersey have been shipping tons of "Grade A Biowaste" to a landfill in Alabama. A neighboring town complained, so the "cargo" was moved to Parrish, a town spanning only two square miles.

The mayor has been lobbying for the waste to be moved to a non-residential area, but so far there's been no resolution. [CNN]

I'm sure that's a LOVELY smell during a hot day in Alabama...

26-year-old Kennecia Posey was pulled over last month after police noticed her car swerving in the road.

During a search of the car, the officer found pot and cocaine in separate bags inside a purse that Posey had on her lap. When questioned about the drugs, Posey admitted that the marijuana was hers, but claimed the wind must have blown the cocaine into her purse.

Posey is facing a misdemeanor charge for the marijuana, and one felony count for possession of cocaine. [Local10.com]

This might be one of the worst excuses I've ever heard from a criminal.  And that's saying a lot...

Officers say the incident happened March 12 at a warehouse south of Montreal. The suspects broke into the warehouse after disabling its alarm system, then used three stolen delivery trucks to make off with the bounty of beer, as well as shipments of pepperoni and beef jerky.

The trucks were later found empty. Police estimate the cost of the goods at approximately $500,000. Cops are warning businesses to be wary of making suspicious purchases. [CTV News]

Stealing beer in Canada? I believe that's punishable by death in some provinces.
