Authorities have released the names of the two people killed in a single-vehicle accident near Hudson over the weekend.

Black Hawk County sheriff's officials on Monday identified the driver as 33-year-old Kimberly Hoskins of Reinbeck. The other victim, 32-year-old Tobi Vanhauen, also of Reinbeck, was a passenger in the vehicle.

Sheriff's officials said evidence indicates that Hoskins' vehicle went off the road and rolled several times before coming to rest in a cornfield. Vanhauen was ejected from the vehicle. Vanhauen and Hoskins both died at the scene.

Autopsies have been scheduled with the Iowa State Medical Examiner in Ankeny, sheriff's officials said.

The crash happened around 9:30 AM Sunday at the intersection of Zaneta and Eldora Roads (County Road D-35), southwest of Hudson.

The accident remains under investigation.
