The road to Des Moines and the 2015 Iowa High School State Wrestling Tournament schedule has been mapped out. The post-season schedule will run from February 7 through February 21. Here is the 2015 schedule of events.


FEB 7, 2015 - Class 1A and 2A Individual Wrestling Sectional Tournaments
For each of the sixteen Class 1A and Class 2A Sectional Tournaments, the champion and runner-up wrestler in each weight class will advance to the District Tournaments on February 14.


FEB 10, 2015 - Class 1A and 2A Team Dual Wrestling Regional Tournaments
There are eight regional sites with four teams per site. The sectional champion and runner-up (contested on February 7) will be the regional dual team qualifiers. The champion and runner-up from the same sectional may, or may not, be assigned to the same regional dual. The teams winning in the first round of the regional double dual will compete in the finals, with the winning team qualifying for the state dual team tournament at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.


FEB 11, 2015 - Class 3A Team Dual Wrestling Regional Tournaments
There are eight regional sites with three teams per site. The top ranked team at each site will receive a bye during the first round. The winner of the first round dual will wrestle the top ranked team in the finals, with the winning team qualifying for the state dual team tournament at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.


FEB 14, 2015 - Class 1A, 2A, and 3A Individual Wrestling District Tournaments
There will be eight Class 1A & 2A District Tournament s with four wrestlers per weight class in each district tournament. There will be eight Class 3A District Tournaments with a maximum of eight wrestlers in each weight class. Each champion and runner-up from the 1A, 2A, and 3A District Tournaments will qualify to the state meet.

FEB 19-21, 2015 - Class 1A, 2A, and 3A Individual State Wrestling Tournament
